COMPANY PROFILE:
VetAccel Inc. (VAI) is an expanding group of companies focused on empowering Veterans to serve Veterans, particularly in healthcare. Based in McLean, VA, and Houston, TX, VAI was founded by an experienced group of West Point graduates, all successful businessmen, supported by Fieldstone’s team. VAI is working with the Veterans Administration on the first of many proposed contracts, in which trained Veterans will work with Veterans in need of specialized care in their homes, with the objective of reducing hospitalization and ER visits.
FIELDSTONE’S ROLE:
Fieldstone provided part of the initial seed capital and helped raise expansion capital to support the business. Fieldstone also is represented on the VAI board.
TODAY:
VAI expects to launch its first program with the V.A. in the first half of 2020, focused on improved outcomes for Veterans at significantly lower costs.
